Plateau Rewrite: what it does
Why pins flatten and how the three rewrites bring them back.
Most pins do not fail. They start, get a burst of distribution, and then flatten because the copy no longer matches what people are searching for. Plateau Rewrite looks at what ranks for your keyword right now and rewrites the pin against it.
What it needs from you
- The pin URL, or the title and description as they read today
- The keyword you want the pin to win
What it gives back
- A diagnosis: a short explanation of why the pin flattened
- Three rewrites on different angles, so you are not guessing between near copies
- Linter checks on every rewrite, so titles and descriptions stay inside Pinterest limits
Publish the rewrite as a fresh pin to the same URL rather than editing the old one. That gives the new copy its own run at distribution.
