What's Working

Run What's Working step by step

Connect Pinterest, sync 90 days of data, and read the results.

Updated August 17, 2026

1. Connect Pinterest

Open Integrations and connect the Pinterest account you publish from. What's Working reads that connection for the profile you are on, so agencies switch profiles to score a different account.

2. Start the sync

On the What's Working page, press Pull in your Pinterest data. The sync runs in the background, so you can close the tab and come back.

The first sync is the slow one. It brings in your boards, your pins, and then the daily numbers behind each pin. Later syncs only fill in what changed.

3. Watch the progress

While the sync runs, the page shows how many pins have been scored. Partial results appear as they land, so you can start reading before it finishes.

4. Read the verdict and the tiers

Start at the top. The verdict tells you what your account is doing overall. Below it, pins are grouped into tiers:

  • Proven winners keep earning past day 30
  • Steady pins hold a smaller but real level of traffic
  • Stalled pins had a start and then flattened

5. Sort and act

Use the sort control to rank by impressions, saves, or outbound clicks. Then:

  • Send stalled winners to Plateau Rewrite
  • Send uncovered keywords to the Pin Title & Description Generator
  • Export the list if you want to plan offline

If the sync looks stuck

Refresh the page first. If the counter has not moved for more than an hour, press sync again; it picks up where it left off rather than starting over. Still stuck, check that Pinterest is still connected on the Integrations page.
